Suwannee Shack
This shack was located on a semi-cleared piece of land near one of my cave dive locations. Land records show the entire parcel being 5 acres.
I am not sure why they left this building standing, when there was nothing else around. It looked pretty sturdy and solidly built, so perhaps it was just a little hangout area for the property owner.
There appeared to be more modern wiring, windows, an electric well pump and even a drain field (old septic?).
This land appears to have a joint tenants with right of survivorship (JTWROS) designation on the land records. JTWROS is a type of ownership in which all joint owners have equal portions of ownership that are immediately allocated to remaining owners if one owner dies. There are multiple owners listed.
