Catedral de Notre Dame
Visiting Notre-Dame was an amazing experience. It's something you always see in photos, magazines and movies. To see it in person was awe inspiring.
We were able to see the mid-day mass and we toured both inside and the outside grounds.
Flash photography and tripods were not allowed inside, so much of the indoor photos were taken as best I could with high ISO settings and being as still as I was able for longer exposures.
On April 15, 2019, the great cathedral caught on fire. Two thirds of the roof burned and the landmark spire collapsed. The rest of the great church is still structurally sound and there are already plans to rebuild it. The cause of the fire was unknown at the time of this writing.
