College Cup
These sleeves were rewarded at the end of the The Strixhaven College Cup event, which ran from 5/12/21 - 6/3/21.
More info on this even can be found HERE.
During this event, players showed their team spirit by equipping sleeves, avatars and pets for their college of choice. At the end of the event, whichever college showed the most overall team spirit would have it's sleeve rewarded to all Arena players.
The winning college was Witherbloom.
As of the 8/23/21 update, all 5 of these sleeves were added to the Midweek Magic promo pack pool.

You could also play both in both events to obtain both sleeves.

The Thopter Pie Network sleeve was originally part of a larger piece of artwork from Victor Adame Minguez, which was illustrated for the card of the same name. This card was a special holiday promo card from the HHO (Happy Holidays) promo set, and numbered H16, from 2016. It is a silver bordered card and not legal in any format. Thopter Pie Network is a play on words from another card, titled Thopter Spy Network, which was from Magic Origins. Playmats and other products have been produced from the Thopter Pie Network art. 8/24/21 - Available for a while in the store as of the date's update for 500 gems / 2500 gold (3600 gems is slashed out) |

These sleeves were available during the Strixhaven, School of Mages preview event from WotC, starting 3/25/21.

There was a WotC quiz involved to find out which of the 5 colleges was the best match for you. Upon finding out, you would receive an Arena code for a sleeve from that college, depicting new characters that are students belonging to each college. You would need to complete the quiz 5 times with different outcomes to receive each sleeve... or just CLEP the quiz and use the codes below.
Each character has an introduction story, spanning across different media outlets during the preview. Click on each character's name to read about them.
Each of these pieces of artwork are also found on the draft booster packs

I have no idea what this Sleeve is from. It was sent to me by someone who pulled a bunch of image assets out of the game for sleeve art. The file name included the wording "basic streamer". I'm guessing this was given to streamers, but I have never seen it used on any streams I watch.
The card art is from Sphere of the Suns, originally printed in Mirrordin Besieged, and reprinted again in Modern Masters 2015. If anyone has any info on this, I would greatly appreciate it. For all I know, it could just be a neglected asset in the game files that was never used. |

The Black Lotus bundle was released on October 22, 2020 in the Arena store and included a Black Lotus pet and a Black Lotus exquisite sleeve.
The cost was 3,500 gems / 17,500 gold for the bundle. Individually, the Black Lotus pet cost 3,000 gems / 20,000 gold and the sleeve cost 1,200 gems. The bundle was an arbitrarily good deal if you wanted these two items at roughly 17% off the gem price. The gold price made the bundle an even better value since the sleeve was not obtainable with gold. This was an obvious gold sink. |

These sleeves were obtained from a special WotC promotion via local game stores leading up to the release of JumpStart.
Availability was from June 26 - July 16, 2020. These were obtained by any MTG purchase or by playing MTG at your LGS or online (if the LGS supported it). You were able to choose either the cat or dog sleeve available that week. Each choice of a cat or dog were tallied up from each week to declare which was more superior. Results were revealed at the release of JumpStart. More information on this promotion can be found HERE.
Regarding the "Cat Token", it's original "printing" is from Apocalypse. It was released only on Magic Online for the card Penumbra Bobcat. This token never had a physical printed card. Even though Penumbra Bobcat had been reprinted for JumpStart, a physical token still does not exist due to JumpStart not having any tokens in it's booster packs.

This Platinum Angel sleeve was a reward for the April 2020 Historic Challenge that ran from April 11-13, 2020.
All players received this as a reward, regardless of wins. Entry to the event was 10,000 gold or 2,000 gems, making this a pricey sleeve for zero wins. The event was traditional best-of-three, and in addition to this sleeve, 8 wins maximum won you an additional 40 historic boosters packs and 15,000 gold.

Announced during the 2020 Word Championship XXVI, was the Secret Lair Theros Stargazing Drop Series. This drop was only be available during the Magic World Championship weekend February 14-16. Each drop included a code for a different sleeve themed around the Theros gods.

This sleeve was offered via local store events as part of the Wizards Play Network reward system. You could receive these during FNM and other special events in the form of a code to redeem in Arena.
This sleeve didn't have a name until 4/12/21 when it was released as a Daily Deal and called "Crossed Swords Exquisite". It represents the red and blue crossed swords belonging to Rowan and Will Kenrith, the Royal Scions, from the Throne of Eldraine. This sleeve makes a future appearance as another WPN reward from LGS.

The Win Every Card event was to celebrate the launch of MTG Arena leaving open beta and ran from Oct 5-7, 2019.
Players who participated in this free event were given access to play with every card in standard in an attempt to build a deck that could win up to 12 games with only 2 losses. Those who made it to 12 games won 1x of every card in standard. Prizes were very generous for this event, with those not wining a single game still receiving a random rare ICR and the Golden Egg exquisite sleeve. This was a very easy sleeve to obtain.

These were one of the early sleeve bundles available on Arena, which players could purchase in the Arena store until May 23, 2019. They were available for 10,000 gold for all 5, making them one of the most expensive and rare sleeves available due to it being harder to farm gold at the time. Arena Metallic (Unused Asset)

This doesn't appear to be used in the game anywhere. It's name is "Metallic Arena".
My guess is this is done in the same way that the "Basic / Metallic" guild symbol sleeves are. There is a lighting/glow effect that shows through the dark areas on the card, such as the logo, and gives the card a somewhat shimmer and the logo glows. It's not an exquisite though. I don't know when this was introduced into the game, but my guess is it was one of the first early sleeves. If I find out otherwise, I'll update this. Please let me know if you have any info on this. |
