Cats vs. Dogs
These sleeves were obtained from a special WotC promotion via local game stores leading up to the release of JumpStart. Availability was from June 26 - July 16, 2020. These were obtained by any MTG purchase or by playing MTG at y our LGS or online (if the LGS supported it). You were able to choose either the cat or dog sleeve available that week. Each choice of a cat or dog were tallied up from each week to declare which was more superior. Results were released at the release of JumpStart. More information on this promotion can be found HERE.
Regarding the "Cat Token", it's original "printing" is from Apocalypse. It was released only on Magic Online for the card Penumbra Bobcat. This token never had a physical printed card. Penumbra Bobcat has been reprinted for JumpStart, but still a physical token does not exist due to JumpStart not having any tokens in that set's booster packs.

The JP-alt Ajani was not included in this promo pack since he was recently released as a WPN promo for the first round of FNM @ Home (April 3, 2020) , and can be found in that section.

April Fools!
This was sent to me by keen eyed reader. He stated he saw this as the default card back for April 1, 2020 this year.
I have not been able to verify it yet, but wanted to share it as I think it's pretty cool. This was not an obtainable sleeve, but an alternate card back only seen on this date. Let me know if you've seen this as well! In any case, it's pretty fun! We should all keep our eyes opened for April 1 pranks from now on! |
March-April
FNM @ Home WPN Promos
Due to the COVID-19 virus outbreak during this time period, nearly all social events have been cancelled and postponed, including regular FNM play at local game stores (LGS).
Because of this, WotC ran 3 separate FNM @ Home events on March 17, April 3 and April 10, with no entry fee, to encourage Magic players to play via their LGS's online communities. Stores that are part of the WPN were given codes to give out to players when they posted game play screenshots via their LGS's social media outlets.

Alpha/Beta Card Backs
Closed Beta Test Card Backs
This default looking card back was similar to one used during the Arena Closed Beta period. The MTG logo was in yellow, and they had removed the Deckmaster wording from the bottom of the card.
According to Jasonofindy "I’ve seen two other card backs used in either closed alpha or closed beta footage. One was a bright red or orange Planeswalker symbol over a drab green or brown background. The other was a gold circle or medallion of some sort over a green background." |
